The Next Big Thing is one of the dumbest adventure games I've played in recent years. So much of the dialogue is obnoxious or dumb or doesn't make sense. Whoever oversaw the English translation needs to figure out the distinction between "closed" and "locked". The "ayo" thing gets old and annoying immediately. Multiple characters exclaiming "What a guy!" is stupid and grating. Discrepancies between voice-overs and subtitles.1 found this helpful
This game has something wrong with it. When I switch between apps, only this game had problems like the mouse doesn't work. And the game crashed and I lost over an hour of playing, so I'm not going to repeat all that. So I have a game I paid for but will not play, and it's the game's fault. Pendulo/Focus is not it.

Pretty decent game overall, with the exception of the "get the band to play the tango", which is obtuse and certifiably insane thanks to the randomness and strict timing. [spoiler](Hit drums, count to eight, hit violin, count to seven, hit bass, count to six, hit piano)[/spoiler] It was made worse due to a bug where my cursor would consistently disappear after activating the second instrument, so impossible to trigger the 3rd instrument until after I had completely restarted the game. Overall: It's no Monkey Island, but it was decent.
