About The Third Day
The story of The Third Day places us 3 days after the death of Jesus when he is resurrected and we embark on an adventure in search of God.

[h1]A Point and Click Adventure 2000-ish Years in the Making[/h1] Some of my earliest memories of PC gaming were playing classic point and click adventures like King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, and Space Quest. When I learned that there was a modern point and click adventure that jives with my dark, sometimes sacrilegious sense of humor, I had to check it out. The Third Day has you controlling Jesus after he has risen from the dead, hence the title. It tries its hardest to mimic the point and click adventures of yore, but falls flat in some places. While a lot of earlier point and click adventures have the player right clicking to cycle through actions such as walk, look, take etc., The Third Day has players selecting from one of two bubbles, usually talk and action/look. While the change is not a big deal, especially to one who isn't well versed in these games, it still took some getting used to. Another aspect of the controls that took some getting used to was using items from the inventory. In the Third Day, the player has to drag an item from their inventory to the object/person they want to use the inventory item with. It wasn't all bad, and I still enjoyed some of my time with it.

Functional Pn'C that will be quickly forgotten once finished. Okay puzzles, expected humour not there for me, story and art not exactly engaging... but the interface brings the essentials (inventory, dialogues, hot spots key, save menu...) with only a minor mouse glitch, no major flaw. And it's voiced (in Spanish,) decently so. It's cheap, playable, fulfils its contract, thus gets a thumb fairly up. I might even finish it.
