About 3 Days in the Abyss
You play as the Spirit of the Crucified Savior, who is on a Journey to descend into Hell, to battle demons, find the Captives and defeat the Evil One. The Savior must fight to rescue the lost Captives ever since the banishment from the Garden of Eden, and bring them back into Paradise.
Enter into the underworld to a scorched landscape filled with evil creatures, danger zones and projectiles. Destroy the Spires to open up the Cells to collect the Captives. Play on the path as you unravel the mystery of the Evil One and his part in all of this.

3 Days in the Abyss is a religiously themed/evangelical 2D retro pixel top down shooter that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. It's a somewhat sacriligeous shooter based on the spirit of Christ in the stygian abyss during the three days after crucifiction and before the resurrection. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs. Like most GameMaker Studio construction kit "games", this features lazy 2D retro pixel "art", instead of professionally done, contemporary PC graphics. Controls and resolution are locked, which pushes this below acceptable standards for PC. Deplorable quality aside, I firmly believe that video games are not the correct place to push social and religious agenda. The subject matter here is somewhat disrespectful and…2 found this helpful

Boy be dumby thicc, Jesus CChrist in the house. Can't get past these burned bushes even when I've cleared the way. Jesus is also not aware of the fact you can shoot in directions other than purely north, south, east, or west.
