This "game" calls itself a "strategy puzzler", but this sorry excuse for a time-waster is [u]not[/u] a puzzle game and it's [u]certainly not[/u] a strategy game: [list] [*]The outcome of the "battles" is determined randomly (by dice you never get to see) and there is only one single "strategy": [b]MORE GUYS WIN[/b]. [*]All you do is to select a unit and click on an adjacent enemy; sometimes you have to choose between two enemies... and if you're really lucky, there are even three -,- [*]The reinforcements are distributed by pure chance, so no strategy there either. [/list] The "game" doesn't look as bad as I expected, but a heap of cräp with sprinkles on it is still a heap of cräp and a [b]really boring[/b] one as well.. The game even encourages you to increase the game speed (which you can do to up to 500%) and [b]additionally[/b] even enable "fast enemy turns" so you don't have to wait through this snorefest for longer than necessary... [h3]... and "necessary" btw is exactly 0 seconds, because you shouldn't buy this piece of sheet![/h3]

Price paid: ~$1–$2 (almost free) I generally recommend this game, especially for the price. It’s a solid digital adaptation inspired by Risk and clearly has potential. The music is fine, the art style is good, and for $2 I definitely wasn’t expecting a Baldur’s Gate-level storyline—and that’s totally okay. As a digital board game, it works well. It’s also family-friendly and could be a good introduction for kids or beginners who are learning board games. The price and illustrations make it very accessible. Cons: The biggest issue is difficulty and balance. There are no difficulty settings, and once you understand the rules, the AI bots are extremely easy to beat. Your win rate quickly becomes 95–99% (if not 100%), which makes the game boring very fast. Another major downside is the lack of online PvP. Local split-screen PvP exists, but it has no balancing at all. In 1v1 matches (on any map size), the first player has a guaranteed win, which completely breaks competitive play. It's just another variation of Risk game. No depth

I don't find the way it randomly distributes reinforcements fun at all, especially since so often it feels like it's not random, fortifying the node the enemies just took from me, while on my turn it almost exclusively fortifies nodes that are landlocked. And then half the times after I'd gotten to the second area, I would basically lose before I took my first turn, with never an explanation for what determines turn order in the first place. I used the cards, as well, and whatever bonus they gave me was barely visible. I had one battle where I ended up with 6-2 alertness, another where they were supposed to lose half their forces, and yet if there was a difference between those battles and an even one, it certainly wasn't visible at a glance

Fun, simple RISK-styled game. Also, you can lead a peasant rebelion and play hotseat, both always great pluses.
