I really wish I could recommend this game because the story, art, and concept are all so interesting. But I just feel like I'm drowning in card battles. Between each story beat there's a bunch of mandatory card battles and for me it just made it not fun to play. I was prepared for some battles since it is, you know, a card battler, but it quickly begins to feel excessive. If you don't mind that then go ahead and get it because the characters and world are compelling.

I genuinely love not only this game, but the whole work and the people who put their heart into this and other projects. And after reading the Artbook, I'm even more in love. Thank you for creating such great Art Okay, yapping time. My 1st play-through was a year or so ago. At first I was interested cuz of the amazing art style, and I like card games. And then I opened the game for the first time... and heard a beautiful song. I couldn't believe it at first: it was in Ukrainian, HUGE kudos for that. I think at that moment I was caught fully haha. The first time I've felt like I made a lot of mistakes, but in the end I still reached what I wanted. But there were some questions to answer and achievements to make, so here I am. Paladin difficulty was nice, and I even saw that some Bosses do (Rollo sometimes too op) and had some difficulties (Hael is valuable support, buuuut. If u wanna know, the hardest boss for me was the duel with Gabriel, but it was fun). I played 3 times fully, and the 4th was purely for the Gargoyle achievement. It was nice to find something new each time, but at the same time I've noticed some mistakes; well, they're quite specific. And I guess at some point…

top tier game with beautiful lore and world building, I love how the game doesn't directly tell you the answer and the whole Lovecraft influence on it. The only downside is the fact that even in 2026 the game constantly crashes while in battles, that honestly really did put me off from getting more endings and exploring the game further since it takes 5-10 retries to actually proceed. Never the less I really do recommend at least playing once.
