"The Succession of Changing Kings" puts you at the helm of a kingdom on the verge of disaster.
The lands that were once rich have now decayed into emptiness. The fields, once fertile with crops, are now covered in weeds. Trade routes have fallen silent, and the best people are leaving their homeland. - Construct buildings, hire subjects, decide the fate of your liegemen and take critical decisions that could influence the destiny of the whole domain.
- Develop relations with the four key groups: nobility, army, church, and commoners. Remember, bad relations can bring all kinds of problems—including death.
- The game is broken down into four acts, 25 turns per act, for a total of 100 turns to win the game. Each act tells a self-contained story that leads to your coronation. In every act, there are over 200 quests and events, some only available on replay.
- There are more than 120 ways for the king to die.

Its basically just a "choose your own adventure" kingdom simulator. The map is just for clicking on quests, you dont actually do anything on it. Other than thats its balancing factions. Any type of actual rp is punished as certain faction will hate you if you dont make decisions to balance. Far as ai, I dont have a propblem with it, but it is bad and very noticeable. The ai voice mispronounces stuff and sounds terrible. The images are basically what your grandma make and puts on fb. Like if youre going to cheat a bit why not make them actually good? idk10 found this helpful
This is a genuinely fun game if you enjoy ruling a kingdom and/or text-driven, choose-your-own-adventure style games. I'm reminded of 'Yes, Your Grace' and 'The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante.' A good few text bugs and the heavy artistic use of A.I. aside, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with TSoCK.4 found this helpful
Don't get discouraged by death - that's going to happen a lot when you first start. After about an hour or so you get an idea of what your priorities should be and how to set yourself up well the first ~60 days so everything can run somewhat smoother after that. You might still randomly die though. I think this is definitely worth the $10 I paid for it.4 found this helpful

Well then. After 6 hours, it is a tough choice. I like the game, but not enjoyed enough to recommend it - and at some point it feels like the game intentionally trolls you. -- the usage of AI is a rather noticeable problem. All of the art you see is AI. Animations? AI. Voiceover? Synthetic. Translations? Judging by how wildly certain names vary - AI. -- the story is simply not that interesting to replay it again -- you get silly scripted events. Like say, forces of neighboring kingdom retreat from border abandoning plans for assault due to spring approaching - your roads will be puddles. Hurray, right? Next turn you get hit by an event that reduces your decision resource for the entire quarter of the game - because you did not pave roads lol lmao eat dirt noob.
