Three kingdoms story: Conussia

Have really tried to give this game a fair chance but it ultimately becomes such a futile and frustrating experience I'm uninstalling. The artwork is great as is the accompanying music so they aren't the problem. The issue I have with this game is making progress and trying to move the story forward. The requirements to complete quests are so obtuse and complicated it is a complete fail. For example, to proceed one quest you need to take a photograph of a character and give it to the person who requires it. Sounds simple right? Ok, well you actually have to go to the persons room, at a certain time of the week, at a certain time of the night with certain weather conditions. Riiiiiight. Even with a guide this is just such a pain in the.... I refuse to go through such convoluted quests. This game is so convoluted in basically all it's quests that making progress is too hard and too much of a time sink. There needs to be an easy mode -actually- the whole way quests work needs to be completely scrapped and made playable. As it is, this game is flat out not worth it. Developer, you have talent in your artwork and sound design but your quest system is WAY TO COMPLICATED and FRUSTRA…

A guide how to play this game. 1. Put game back into russian. 2. Download google lens on your phone. 3. open google lens. 4. Tap translate. 5. From russian > to english. 6. Take a picture of every text to be able to unerstand this game and enjoy the best part of the game : the art. On a serious note, getting around to finally play this, and getting my hopes up that a rework has been released with improved localization only to be met with... this? Is a massive dissapointment, and I will be avoiding this developer, which is a shame, because their art is literally one of the best ones on steam. I hope there is a program out there that can actively scan my screen and translate the text on a seperate screen into english. I know there are programs like that for Japanese visual novels, but I couldn't make it work with this game, sadly.

Given that this was a first game by the dev, I was ok with going through the grind, clunky navigation and non-intuitive quests (mind, this is with the "Complete rework" dlc, plus using walkthroughs), but the soft-locks and quest/game-breaking bugs stopped me from playing it. It's a pity as the game has a well felt dark vibe and a decent art style.

played thru almost all endings and have to say it gets real repetitive pretty fast there is some not alot but some adult content which i have to admit even thro they are still images most are fantastically drawn/modeled but other than that its basically just a game to kill time in so its alright based on that

I bought this in a bundle. While it is basically a visual novel, the art seems original. The premise is confusing. I think the main character rescues a princess by happenstance and thereby falls into her good graces. He can then aid or undermine her. The ways to do this are murky, though. The biggest problem is that this this game's dialogue needs proof-read for clarity and tone. In terms of tone, the use of the idiom "dwag" is very distracting. This is not the only tone-related problem, but is the most glaring. Swearing is distracting simply because it doesn't sound consistent with the rest of the text. I'm fine with swearing in games, but it needs to fit stylistically. However, the bigger problem is that perhaps 20% of the sentences are unclear, perhaps reflecting idiomatic translations from the original language (Russian? Ukrainian) into English. Other problems probably relate to translating case-based languages where nouns have genders into English, but that is just speculation. The developer has posted a walk-through. This makes the game playable.
