A shoot'em-up where the goal is to convey an experience rather than to acquire the highest score or best equipment. The catch is that from beginning to the end, you will use the same ship and weapon. There is no reward, collectibles, or brand-new equipment. The only thing you gain is an extra health bar for your ship once you complete a world. The basic plot has been told numerous times: you are a pilot who needs to the world. You achieve this with a ship you build with the help of an old professor and his robot. When the old man dies, your preparations are thrown off, but you still complete the task. To be fair, this isn't a space opera. Your robot companion is the only one who speaks to you, and he comments and offers you suggestions as you fly through stages. The presentation is the foundation of the game. Music needs special emphasis because it contributes to the overall ambiance. You must fly across eleven worlds, each of which contains five stages. What distinguishes the game is that it isn't only about flying from left to right and blasting enemies. Stages can throw a variety of surprises at you, and the main goal is usually just to survive.
