Each new game, you will face a new tower to climb! Whether it be the type of platforms or their positions, nothing will ever be the same again...
The higher you climb in the dungeon, the more difficult it will become: the platforms will become less numerous, less large but also less immobile.... Only the most daring will triumph over hell...

This game was so simply fun. The mechanics are easy to understand, hard to master. Very enjoyable, solid game. Online multiplayer would be a huge plus. Overall very solid and great to sink some time into.2 found this helpful

This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] "Torch" is a strange little platformer from France that comes across more as a tech demo or a student project rather than a serious game for PC gamers. I guess that explains the price point... regardless, this is a game that requires several players, and there's no population for the game at all. Why not? Well, apart from the quality, this is just a really shallow "always jump upwards" platformer... there's no gripping reason for anyone to play such a shallow game, and that plays out in the public reception (SteamDB tells a very dire tale). What do you do in the game? Jump upwards, all the time, push other players off platforms (there are none), avoid hazardous platforms, yawn a lot and maybe take a nap. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. Th…1 found this helpful
