Very nice little game, still in early access version but updates are dropped very often, so it's nice to see what's new after every update :)3 found this helpful
Two Clusters Cold Haven" shows potential but would benefit from enhancements in graphics, storyline depth, gameplay variety, . With these improvements, the game has the opportunity to offer a more enjoyable adult gaming experience.2 found this helpful
While "Two Clusters Cold Haven" is Early Access, it shows that some things can be done right. However, there are 2 issues with this game: - updates are infrequent as this is single-dev title - it's working, but quality is not there in almost every aspect While it is basically RPG Maker game, it has original menu design, but not a great one. It has all downsides of RPG Maker games (slow fights, cucumber animations). Music is alright. Pretty nice. Graphics - simple, yet detailed in variety. It's just not worth time, considering how many better (and free) options are there.1 found this helpful
5/10 An adult sci-fi RPG made with an RPGMaker-like engine. Good: - the story is well-written. Whenever you come up to an NPC, the protagonist gives some background info on the person. Same when entering new locations. This world-building is really nice - big images of the characters look pretty good for a free indie game - music is good - free So-so: - sfx are very basic and probably come from the engine - battles are simplistic and also come from the engine - 2D gfx of the environments is generally okay (streets look better than interiors) but the small images of the characters are bad, especially the one of the protagonist Bad: - no mouse support. Terrible controls and UI. Because they come from the engine. For some reason, these horrible RPGMaker-like engines either poorly support the mouse or not at all. This one doesn't react to the mouse at all. Inventory management and everything else require navigation around multiple nested menus and screens with WASD and Z for "Enter" and X for "Escape". Which is ridiculous. But it seems like all these devs just don't care - the description says there are sex scenes but after over 40 mins in the game and clearing the whole "level C" a…1 found this helpful
"Two Clusters Cold Haven" is a somewhat crappy abandoned Early Access construction kit job... eschewing the usual RPG Maker garbage, we get the Wolf RPG Editor instead. I know, I know, you're thinking, "It's impossible, nothing could be worse than RPG Maker!". Well, the madmen behind Wolf RPG Editor did it. They made something worse. Anyway this is a construction kit job, the "developer" just filled out stuff using the engine without actually doing any real game development, coupled with the usual cringey high school anime club dropout fan fiction we've all come to loathe from RPG Maker. It does look like they came up with some of their own assets, so at least that's something. Not saying they're good assets, but when you've reviewed as many games as I have, seeing stock assets plastered all over the place gets real tiresome. Gamers deserve better. Also, this is abandoned, it hasn't been touched in over a year, so, I guess this is just going to appeal to construction kit fans who like bad writing but not complete games? This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the…
