About ULTRA VERTIGO
ULTRA VERTIGO is a game about well... running and exploring. Be fast, be nimble and stay focused to get to the end as fast as you can. Modifiers and secrets will keep things fresh, go out there and explore! To make it quick and easy (perfectly on point for this game) :A huge vertical level with both relaxing and demanding zones. Easy to understand but hard to master (good luck putting your name in the leaderboard). Jump and climb as high as possible. The finish line lies at the very top of this huge vertical level. We hope you are not afraid of heights!Accessibility is important for us, so you will discover a wide array of customization options to tailor the game to your needs. Make it as easy or difficult as you want. Add a shadow, a cursor, checkpoints or even the ability to rewind! The rewind can be set as unlimited, single use (per zone / per run) or disabled. It allows you to get back right before the previous jump, in case of an inconvenient fall...Checkpoints are... Well it's explicit. Those are checkpoints. Still want to know more? Well... You can also make them single use, unlimited or just disabled.Yes, indeed, you will fall. Quite a lot. Of course, your legs are pretty strong, there is no fall damage or anything like that. The only damage you get from falling is emotional, as the level scrolls in front of you, showing all the progress you are losing while falling.Maybe while falling you'll find fabulous secret places...! With terrifying heights and hard jumps... Perfect places to fall! Who knows.Keep running, keep climbing, keep falling, keep... retrying. Somewhere down the line you will succeed. It is only a matter of time, sweat and tears. Though, getting to the end of the level is only the beginning, as you can improve your time, discover new routes and find shortcuts!
- Rewarded exploration with shortcuts, secret zones and easter eggs!
- Customize the game, tailor the difficulty to your needs with a neat rewind and well placed checkpoints.
- Add cool and cumulative modifiers to remix the game :
- A rave party mode with mesmerizing visuals and remixed musics.
- Reduce gravity to get to new heights!
- An... Entity...? That will haunt you and try to make you fall.
- Make it jazzy. Because jazz is cool.
- Ducks. Way too much rubber ducks. (Yup. You can bounce on the bigger ones).
Come on... Ducks are waiting for you! They can't wait to see you fall... And the leaderboard is eager to receive your scores!

Ultra vertigo is a fun 3d platformer with a lots of secrets to find. Some of the secrets are really hard to find, and unfortunatly, the community on steam and youtube isn't big so theres no guide, but after asking, the dev added hints in game to make it more findable by everyone which is a big plus. There is also a speedrun mode that act as a foddian mode where there is no rewind or checkpoints. And for casual, you can keep the default mode to make it easier but it will be short if you only finish the main game and don't collect secrets that way.5 found this helpful
"Bennett Foddy's ♥♥♥♥ I fell down and lost like 20 minutes of progress" Ultra Vertigo is one of those games that’s simultaneously very cool and deeply infuriating. The first-person vertical platforming feels great when you’re chaining jumps together properly, and the rewind mechanic adds some genuinely smart tension management. The problem is that the game also loves punishing failure by sending you plummeting into the abyss and erasing massive chunks of progress. After a while it stopped feeling challenging and started feeling like the game was personally insulting me. There’s a fantastic movement system buried underneath all the suffering. I was interested when I saw this game pop up as a demo during Next Fest. I have been on a solid precision platformer kick for a while now, and this had fun aesthetic form the outset. I became truly exited once I realized who the developers were! Since I had only known them from itch io it took me a while too put 2 and 2 together. "The Just More Doors People Made A Game On Steam!" And now that we have the finished product I can say it doesn't disappoint. I completed my first run and it hits all the boxes for a good time. I like the rewind option for accessibility as it makes a tough game approachable. The alternative routes and secrets are fun to find. I fully recommend this game to precision platformer fans.2 found this helpful

Well i would say this is the perfect game for you ! 11 on 10 if you like entertaining electro music loops and specials modifiers after you finished the game ;) And this is not a useless piece of text héhé1 found this helpful
