game is good, love the 3D platforming, game is playable with controller. 9/10

BETON BRUTAL is a unforgiving platformer built of off Minecraft's parkour mechanics. It took me about 6 months to beat, and most of it wasn't fun, but the rush I got after passing each milestone was something only truly challenging games provide. The game also runs perfectly, has a ton of customization options, and weights less than a gig.

Minecraft parkour if it was fun. Extremely enjoyable, very difficult.

Life has it's ups and downs Breton Brutal is a brutalist architechture inspired "Only Up" style game. The whole point of the game is for you to navigate a massive architectural pit, attempting to get out of it. The level design and platforming are very well done, and on top of having straight forward navigation paths, there are also more difficult short cuts you can use to cut out portions of the climb, if you're willing to risk them. Really, I think this is a really solid climbing game that requires a lot of skill and precision. Why would I not recommend it then? Because it isn't fun, and it offers zero allowances for you. If you're someone who likes a no holds barred challenge with zero wiggle room, then you're going to really like this game. For the majority of players, they're going to give up after playing for a while, falling back to the start, and realizing that they simply have to redo everything they did before. I enjoy difficult climbing games to an extent. I've played a number of these games and I really like the interesting challenges they offer. What I DON'T like is having to redo large sections over and over again after already beating their challenge…

All my homies love brutalist architecture. 10/10 would fall to the bottom again.
