Once upon a time, a nefarious necromancer summoned an army of vengeful spirits to wreak havoc upon the world. Unfortunately, they only wanted to wreak havoc upon HIM! Now he must undo what he has done by drawing upon the power of magic sigils to blast the ghouls back to the netherworld. Featuring an innovative mix of color matching puzzle mechanics and fast-paced, twin stick shooter action.

- Addictive Puzzle/Shooting Gameplay: Highlight colored sigils to match the approaching ghouls, build up your magic charge, aim, and fire! Also, try not to die.
- Story Mode: Fight through 10 levels across multiple environments, including Swamps, Graveyards, Badlands, and the dreaded Tower of Chaos!
- Arcade Mode: Survive as long as possible against ever larger waves of ghouls. Choose from 10 different arenas and rack up high scores in endless, arcade-style gameplay.
- Power Ups: Grab special weapon boosts to increase your firepower. Slice through enemies with spinning blade attacks, or fire straight through barriers with an unstoppable beam of magic.

UnSummoning: the Spectral Horde is a 3D rendered 2D top down shooter/action puzzle hybrid with unique gameplay. You play a wizard and you need to defeat various enemies by moving around on a 2D grid and shooting them twin-stick style, but here's the catch - your weapons power relies on you walking over various coloured squares (which consumes them). Furthermore, different enemies need to be hit by specific coloured squares... so you need to consume just the right amount to kill your enemies while making sure there's enough "ammo" left for you to collect to kill the rest. Other welcome aspects of the game apart from the original gameplay include 4K support, a small array of simple graphics tweaks, and customisable controls, so the developers were aware they were making a PC game... the basics have been met. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put …2 found this helpful
