✦ AI summary

Players praise this roguelike lunar lander game for its charming concept, varied enemy types, and engaging difficulty that keeps them coming back despite frustration. The main complaints center around awkward controls—particularly the downward gravity mechanic and the need to constantly rotate to fire or thrust—which some find deliberately difficult in an intentional way while others find it simply imprecise and tedious, and the unbalanced difficulty curve where the descent is easy but the ascent becomes a chaotic mad dash where most runs fail.

Great in concept, was not a fan of the downward gravity. It doesn't handle well.

It's a cute little lunar lander asteroids game, gotta constantly be careful not to bump into walls or get ganked by one of the pretty varied enemy types.

Pretty fun. The only issue I have is that the difficulty is entirely backloaded. Getting to the bottom is easy (even on hard), but takes a while. Getting back out is a mad dash where the majority of runs end. Still fun in short bursts despite this.

I suppose this game is for people who enjoy those, "difficult to control" type games. Like QWOP or whatever that genre is. I prefer precise and fast paced action games instead. Your ship can only fire or thrust forwards, so you have to spin to face the enemy, then spin to thrust in your desired direction, while gravity constantly pulls you down. Not my idea of a good time, sorry.

I don't typically go for roguelikes but I keep picking this up. Great game, very frustrating, very engaging.

For anyone who loved Gravitar as a kid, this certainly has some of the same feel as Gravitar did. If you ever played that and enjoyed it, this is a good go to game to scratch that itch.
