About Vermis Orbita

Vermis Orbita is a fast-paced, wave based, action game where you control a Dragon-God who has the power to utilize orbiting objects as weaponry to fight off swarms of enemies.
Fight off many different types of enemies that are trying to end you. From very fast but low health wasps, to extremely high health crabs that slowly crawl towards you, there is no shortage of enemy variety. As the game progresses, you will discover new and more formidable enemies that will truly put your battle skills to the test.
Strike down waves and waves of blood-splattering enemies with all of your orbital weapons. Each wave is procedurally generated, so you will never face the same wave twice! The difficulty of each wave scales to the wave number you are on, so you will feel the difficulty rise each new wave. As the waves progress, new enemies will show their faces. New enemies, more enemies, bigger enemies, how long will you last?

After you get a taste of the later stages, the first ones become sooooo slow, but that's just how these types of games are. Also, it's weird, but in the description (under "Waves"), wave 17 looks way more packed than I had, and overall the waves felt a bit unbalanced. Music getting more intense was a nice feature.

"Vermis Orbita" is a lame ripoff of Poncle's copyrighted work, "Vampire Survivor" but this time you're a dragon... somehow, the developer managed to make a game that looks even worse than Vampire Survivor... I didn't think such a thing could be possible, but this does look like some incredibly lazy stuff here. All you do in this game is move around and kite waves of enemies while your attacks finish them off. It's also shallower than Vampire Survivor, without all the cool progression and "depth" (such as it is) of the Vampire Survivor game the developer is ripping off here. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things t…

>Be a Dragon-God. >Power to utilize ORBITING OBJECTS as weaponry to fight SWARMS of Enemies!!! >Get your head blown off by a... Crab. >:( I am was on the fence on this one, while the dragon is amazingly animated, everything else is static and boring, the music is repetitive and nothing really stands out. It's free, so I don't think it's that bad. The respawns could be better, got tired of dying by enemies spawning on my head. Give it a go, maybe.

Surprisingly a hard game, like the old arcade games you used to put coins to play. You definitely get better as you play, your skill progresses like any skill based game, although I gotta say it gets easier the more rounds you play as you get extra "Aurelion sol stars". Some advise I can give is: 1- Rotate frequently to kill enemies faster 2- Be careful with Bats, they are very fast, but die easily 3- Be extra careful of Bees they are faster than you, but thankfully are quite rare 4- STAY AWAY from Scorpions they have a massive hitbox (I think) which makes them kill you very easily even if you clearly were not that close to them And that is it have fun, my best score was wave 24 with 308 enemies killed.

Great graphics + simple rules + unforgiving hitboxes = a great rage game
