Game has a lot of nice bullet hell challenges. The two stages are overall pretty worthwhile to play, especially the 2nd stage and its boss. Definitely recommend. Some criticisms for the devs: The player is way too small. I get not wanting to do the "Toaplan pattern" of spawning enemies on the left and then the right, but this can lead to level design where all challenges come from a central or single side position. Enemies moving around can of course make the player chase them to aim at them, but ideally you'd want players to have to worry about moving to engage enemies from farther apart positions. Dead air between enemy waves. This was a problem also in one of the other student shmups (I forget which one right now), but basically if one speed-kills the enemies, then there isn't much to do other than wait for a while. It's not long, but still, considering thickening up the waves or adding spawns that appear if one is particularly fast at killing enemies. Having a spread, backshot and homing shot available is nice, and while balancing the homing shot to have a small RoF may seem like a good idea, it ultimately feels bad to use.
