About Vivid World
Vivid World is a completely new party-building roguelike auto-battler, where you assemble a team of characters that have transformed into jewels to engage in combat!
Transverse a new world with quirky characters who've all been redesigned from Vivid Knight! Create your own unique and powerful party to clear every dungeon in your way!
Do you know the proverb: "Three heads are better than one"?
Gather several of the same jewels, enhance them, and see your buffs and synergy explode with power!
And now, introducing "Orbs." You can equip Orbs to each character in your party, which means your ability to create and change your party has now expanded infinitely!
In this game, the battles advance automatically while the player utilizes "Gems" to support their party during battle phases.
With our new and improved battle system, the player can combine several Gems together or unleash the power of individual Gems!
Enjoy strategic battles with greater freedom than ever before!
The characters who battle for you are, after all, only jewels.
That means you can "buy and sell" them.
You can buy different types of Jewels or strengthen a single Jewel by merging several of the same Jewel with it.
The choice is yours. Feel free to play around with your resources however you see fit.
But be careful.
If you're too greedy, you might find yourself being sucked into a dungeon here in the Underworld that you can't get out of.
The Underworld's deep, dark secrets.
Those secrets will be revealed as you conquer dungeons and interact with the denizens of the Underworld.

A straight upgrade to Vivid Knight in every aspect. Banger art, unexpectedly amazing soundtrack, more mechanics, more units, better balance, and now there's even 2-player co-op with pretty unique implementation! The new character designs are really great and the art direction really stands out, it's pure eye candy! It still suffers from some of VK's flaws such as the over-reliance on unmitigated RNG systems sometimes deciding that you just lose, even if you've played at least semi-optimally, and the quite short amount of content variety for the genre. The original JP voice-acted barks fit the game well, but the EN ones are really bad and feel very forced. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes turn-based roguelikes and wants a nice little snack between the big releases, especially on sale. If you aren't interested in its predecessor, Vivid Knight, you can safely skip that one and go straight for World, as they don't have much lore in common.1 found this helpful
Looks cute but the gameplay isn't great.
Great iteration on the previous game. Lots of new mechanics that fit well, and a really nice story and lore to go along with it.
PROS: --More charming aesthetic than Vivid Knight. --Refined gameplay with more build variety and synergy. Team composition actually matters more than how it was in Vivid Knight where the meta is just "3* legendary boards and unlock every single symbol under the sun" --Gem mechanics got an overall improvement which is great. CONS: --Mistranslation? Some of the rings has a weird flavor text where it states "(when a battle starts) all enemies gains 2% MAX HP for [X debuff]; All alies gains 3 [X debuffs]" which doesnt make sense because its just demerits with no positives. --No more unlockable characters and accesories, rather you get them from clearing story stages. Which kinda kills its replay value. I have 40 hours on Vivid Knight because I feel like I have something to grind for. I don't feel like playing this game for as much despite the massive improvement. You need some form of rewards to keep players engaged so idk why they just discard that part of the game. They should actually improve it instead.
How is this game not more known?? It it SO good, just difficult enough to be a challenge, the STYLE is amazing, the music is good, it's so nice to look at and it's fun!!! All the characters are so well designed and unique, the voices are cute (I play in Japanese) The powers and upgrades and everything else is so neat, even the story is interesting. Come one try it out for yourself!! ヽ(o＾▽＾o)ノ
