So I actually didn't know most of this was AI generated, for the first 5min. Listen, I get it.. if you are a solo dev, Maybe all you know how to do is code, cool. (even though I think it may be vibe coded as well) However, Mind you AI is just a tool, and will not replace common knowledge of how games should be made. Primary example is the music and the lack of structure. RNG music is not appealing, and sounds like we are just listening to someones overly hyped mix-tape. INSTANT vibe killer. (we go from a grim-dark aesthetic town to blaring rock that is really just noise? not cool) And as for Lyrics... most auto-generated I've heard. Again AI IS A TOOL, but it will not replace the mind of those who wield it. You have to have a Good base to build upon, not just throw the story or synapses into the lyric generator and see what happens. The game play is okay.. for the most part, but still OVERLY complicated. Honestly, I think the design is what makes the cars harder to understand. Not only that, you have too keep track of too many sub-sets of the cards for it to be engaging enough to warrant that. I am just disappointed

There is a village and a dungeon, so they're not lying. You are Devon Deck. Your mission? Conquer the dungeons below the Hot Dog City before the vendors go out of business. But for real, this is a very fun and sweet turn-based deckbuilder roguelite game. It's a little bit to heavy RNG oriented, so in the later stages only luck will help you, but I still recommend it as the gameplay loop, music and the graphics are pretty cool. To quote Larry David: "everyone wants to be a pickle hero".

Mixed feelings on this one. This game is an iOS port The game is designed around using Runes to make builds. Most cards are awful, with no redeeming factors as to why you would use them. Lots of luck involved and you need to spend heaps of Lucky Coins if you want consistent wins. The challenge starts around Tier 4-5 cards, where some are disgustingly powerful, almost to the point where you should abandon any element stacking you were doing so you can use them. I don't see the genius behind the balance of the cards. Other than that, it's playable, but mildly frustrating when RNG beats you.

I'll preface this one by saying I'm not particularly good at deckbuilding games or roguelikes. However, I was able to easily digest the activation and monster systems in this game to beat the first dungeon's final boss on my second try. Every single review that complains about difficulty bewilders me and is either people who didn't try to understand the game's systems or expected free wins. With that said, even though I ran a Druid Priest attack deck with buffs plus heals, I was constantly threatened - it definitely wasn't a free win. Enemies with debuff abilities could clear my main buffs, magic and poison damage constantly threatened me, and I was consistently stymied by slows. What led to the win was not taking every encounter head on, fleeing from some (yes, you can do this) while picking and choosing others. I found the challenge to be refreshing. I also found that I didn't equip a rune stone (lol) about halfway through. Oops. Also, the pixel art style is as per usual, timeless and enjoyable. The soundtrack is also a nice mix of relaxing and pulse pounding depending on the situation. Overall, I'd like to see this game on Android as well, as it played very well on the Steam …

Fun, challenging deck builder for a few hours of fun. If you like thinking about how to optimize systems, or min/maxxing characters, you'll probably like this.
