About Vollema

In Vollema, you assume the role of a college student on your university's volleyball team. While en route to The Big Game, you and one of your teammates accidentally stumble upon a major conspiracy surrounding the school, local politics, and a cult-like paramilitary organization.
Looks like the tournament is going to have to wait.
As you unravel the story, you will...
- Recruit new party members capable of countering different attacks during combat, indicated by color and sound cues.
- Explore various unique and colorful locations, each one giving you and your party a slightly different look.
- Wrestle a goat.
- Encounter manmade horrors beyond your comprehension.
- Meet some... unique individuals and creatures inhabiting the surrounding area.

And maybe even make it to The Big Game after all!
Look out for yourself and your team, because someone, somewhere, is absolutely out to get you!

"Vollema" is a poorly made experimental RPG that hinges on an unengaging gimmick... your attacks and defenses rely on colour-matching as you switch between various colours as part of the combat system. This is the kind of thing that amateur developers push a lot because it seems "different" and therefore "good" after a few beers, but in reality this kind of gimmick, which has been done dozens of times before and never succeeds, just isn't fun. Which leaves the RPG itself, and that isn't any good either... it's easy to see why this was a huge flop on Steam Direct. There's an overwhelming amount of mediocre Visual Novel/E-book style cutscenes in this game. The developers failed one of the most basic, fundamental requirements of game design.. "Show, don't tell." So you'll spend a huge amount of time not playing the game, but clicking through endless lines of poorly written VN text cutscenes because the developers couldn't work out how to relate their narrative through the game mechanics, and decided instead it would be better to compete with reading a book for your time. We're here to play games, not read through hours of garbage intersituals. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. …2 found this helpful

Необычная новелла, также есть действия по типу платформера, рекомендую1 found this helpful
The tutorialization on the combat needs work, I could see the being fun but the combat feels like a high skill ceiling just starting out in the game. If you don't mind the difficulty then feel free to give it a go, just know that the game can be harsh if you mess up at any time.
Ha, too bad : there seems to be a bug on Proton, where I cannot input any action if I change window and come back, I have to stop and restart the game.
Vollema is a hand-drawn, color-changing RPG featuring a unique pattern memorization-based combat system where you and your classmates uncover a sinister plot involving your school, local politics, and a cult-like paramilitary organization.
