While this game is very similar to the other big adult sandbox games, VR HOT feels a bit like the strange and weaker cousin. It has the clothing features from ComeCloser, though much worse implemented and it has the deep customization from Captain Hardcore, but with pixelated and blurry textures even on the highest settings. It also runs much slower and switching characters and maps took my PC up to 20 seconds, where I in Captain Hardcore can load into any map in less than 10 seconds and can freely spawn multiple characters and objects with no load time. In the menu you have 6 locations to choose from, a room with a view, a single bedroom, a minimal room, a dungeon, a tropical island and a green screen AR location which is just a solid green background. You also have the option to choose the texture quality before launching, where you have the options between low quality, medium quality, high quality, very high quality, ultra quality and insane quality, all depending…

This game is a sandbox sex simulation and character creation game clearly “in development” and can be incredibly enjoyable and incredibly frustrating at times. If your goal is to have a perfectly immersive sex simulation that does the trick for you every time, you’ll probably get frustrated. (Good luck finding a game that does it better though.) But if you are willing to overlook some of its quirks and clumsiness (maybe even laugh when things go really wrong), the game will reward you. You might even find that experience you were looking for. The game essentially allows you to create your own characters, both female and male, and dress, undress, and physically engage them in a…satisfying…way. You can also play as either gender, if you want to explore that. On a high end PC, the skin textures and softness are realistic enough that you might even spend hours just playing around and watching your “hottie” dance around. And there’s an in game camcorder you can make your own adult movies with. There’s an active Discord community with support and trading of in game creations. Controller issues. The game is hard to interact with outside of VR. Standard PC keyboard controls are hard to learn or for some situations, non existent. There is no support for gamepad-style controllers.

This game has so much potential but I recommend waiting for however long it will take for the game to reach that potential. Penetration is like docking a rocket into a space station, the smallest mistake sends everything flying off into orbit, sometimes literally. prompts can take minutes to execute sometimes and at times it can feel like a horror game rather than a ahem "love simulator". if they can iron out all the bugs, which there are a lot of, it would be an amazing game. Bottom line if you buy, prepare to be extremely frustrated for a very long time, if you do manage to land that rocket and everything goes according to plan then it is pretty great, the problem is it can take a very very long time to get there and you'll probably want to give up before then
