XorO is a really interesting little strategy game because it takes the basic ideas of tic tac toe and rock paper scissors and turns them into something much more focused on reading the other player. I like the fact that it does not depend on fast reactions or complicated controls. Instead, every turn is about trying to work out what my opponent is planning and deciding whether I should play safely or take a risk. The main game is a one on one battle where both players choose their moves at the same time. Once the turns are submitted, I get to see how those moves interact with each other. I think this is a clever system because neither player gets to simply react to what the other person has already done. I have to make my decision based on what I think they are going to do, which gives even simple moves a surprising amount of tension. The rules are also quite easy to understand once I get used to them. That is probably one of the game's biggest strengths for me because I can start experimenting without having to learn a massive collection of abilities or statistics. The art style and animations are amazing, the game would be awsome with friends. The Ai learns your previous moves, but the gameplay can get tedious overtime, but I would recommend playing it if you have friends.
