Duet Night Abyss

This game is using AI in it's animations. I used to be a content creator for this game and I really wanted this game to succeed. But Generative AI is where I draw the line. As far as gameplay goes it's really boring because once you get the right set of characters you just afk the whole game including the endgame. Afk option is nice for farming but it shouldn't be strong enough to make active play not even marginally better. If this game would have launched the way it did in cbt1, it would be a hit and that's why I stuck with the game but every update after that has made the game feel worse and play worse. Even tho the game uses UE4 the game will actively shake down your system for resources to run. So while you might not have any framerate issues, your system will be near it's breaking point just to do so (i.e. my cpu and gpu were near maxed the whole time with the fans on full blast hitting around 90c). Helldivers 2 runs better than this and this is a mobile game for crying out loud.

The game deliberately did not disclose that they AI generate the character unlock animations. That's just the final thing that pissed me off too much to recommend it. Over time the game became completely AFK focused, with practically no content that requires you to actively participate. You just push a button and the bot companions and your own character automatically nuke every enemy that spawns on the map instantly for the next 40 minutes, during which the game nukes your entire PC for all of its memory and processing power unless you minimize it to like 600p resolution and 30 fps. The game's balance is completely in the toilet. The last 3 character releases crept the power level of the game so much that the damage requirement to be a valid unit in the events that actually require you to play increased by about 20 times the previous top DPS. That's not even hyperbole at all. When Flora came out she did over 10 times as much damage as the next best character before her, and now Falsi is doing double what Flora was capable of. First impressions so far are very mediocre. Terrible English voice acting, and writing is either bad or poorly translated. Its also BLOATED with MANY different ways to spend actual cash. Seems to be a anime Knock-off or attempt at making Genshin Impact. BUUUUUT the combat seems decent, and the anime style is very nice.

If for some reason you're a masochist for gargantuan grinding, this game is for you; otherwise, no. I am recommending this because I'm one of those said people, buff my goat margie.
