"Yeah Jam Fury" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This is an ancient (and not even good for it's time) platformer from Newgrounds (remember that?). The platformer is poorly made and features a kind of phasing gimmick where you use "egos" to create blocks, walls, destroy things, all required to progress through each puzzle platformer level. It's not even close to a good experience, especially considering 3D cards got invented. Decades ago. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The graphics aren't great, very poor looking cartoony (retro?) 2D visuals. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primari…1 found this helpful

i remember back when i was just a wee lad, and i would play yeah jam fury, and i wouldnt be able to get past stage 3 now im older, and wiser, and i managed to get to stage 5.1 found this helpful
cool puzzle game, it even has a level editor
A really fun and creative puzzle platformer from the Flash days, that still holds up well today.
