About You, With Me - A Kinetic Novel

“Isn't it so painful, to see that you are so alive when the conclusion has already begun?”

Based on the creator's experience with a cancer patient comes another heart wrenching tale by Afterthought Studios.

You, With Me is set mainly in Singapore of an expat couple who had the perfect plan, a perfect getaway for the holidays. However, everything is turned into dust as news come out of the main character's illness.

Truly, will pretending that everything is normal give you a sense of normalcy? Or perhaps, confronting your fears is the best thing to do?

Afterthought Studios are comprised of talented and experienced creators - The very same people who developed Forgotten Not Lost and published many other games such as Cupid and Who Is Mike for other creators.

It's definitely a sad concept, but there just wasn't enough to it to make me like it. It's also not worth paying $3.00 for. I got mine for free as a side purchase to an indie VN bundle, so I didn't mind it so much then.

Didn't find the characters to be ones I liked or could relate to. Writing is.... less than ideal. This was not an experience I'd like to replicate.

The most pointless visual novel I've ever seen. It's utterly joyless, and made with so little care I'm left wondering why the developers even bothered. At least with AI hentai slop there's a point to it -- devs trying to make money off horny gamers -- but this VN doesn't even have that excuse. Let's start with the art. It looks like illustrations off of Wikihow. Soulless and bland. Then the writing. At first it seemed competent enough, but then the errors started adding up and the stilted awful dialogue made the characters seem even more like shoddy paper cut-outs. With decent art it might have been bearable, but add them together and the lack of quality is insulting. The overall presentation is beyond lazy. There's huge blocks of unbroken text, and text even spills out of the dialogue box making it impossible to read. It's like no one on the dev team gave a single ♥♥♥♥ about this overwrought, melodramatic bloody stool of a game. I just don't understand how you can make a visual novel this bad. I've removed any other games from this studio from my wishlist and will not buy anything else from them in future.

I feel this visual novel character a little bit ugly, the story also weird.

Natasha, is it you? Apparently, in this VN "Natasha" is a boy (since 23 Feb, 2017); flight from Singapore to NY lasts 20 hours (no guys, it lasts 18.5), you won't catch flu from standing in the rain (you'll catch a cold), and you won't "choking thinking about what has happened". And why is it RPG in tags? So, the text is pretty average (not bad, but nothing special), with mistakes now and then. Gameplay? No, just a story.
But, the worst: the text mentions treatment methods and those who are easily influenced should not read this VN. Plus some unacceptable behavior that already was mentioned in other reviews.
Do not bother with this game. It is just nothing but clicking through with no interaction options. Very disappointed.
