About The Warmth Between Us
Story Background
It is late December in Taipei.
The pavement glows like silver under the bone-chilling winter rain.
With the coming of the New Year, we met for the first time.
Our beginning was nothing special. It was ordinary, yet, so unaccounted for.
However, I couldn’t help but let myself drown in this warm but distant vibe.
Her shadow, her every move and sensation piques my curiosity.
The warmth between us has a certain comfort that I’ve never felt before…
About The Game
- A visual novel containing 60,000 words, with 6 hours of gameplay.
- 10+ beautifully-illustrated CG artwork
This is a story about the warmth between people.
It was a simple act that brought us together but became a life-defining moment, affecting the choices we make.
Our relationship cannot be described as friendship or love. Rather, it is built upon the support and warmth we share with each other.
It is...a simple act of intuition.
From the Developer
Hi, I’m Nine, an indie game developer from Taiwan.
I’m slowly but steadily realizing my dream by creating more and more stories.
Along the way, there have been many obstacles,
and I’ve become confused by the road ahead of me.
However, that is why I can feel the warmth radiating from the people who have supported and helped me along the way.
That’s why I want to share these emotions with everyone.
I will continue to create more stories about ‘warmth’.
I hope that they can resonate with you.
If I’m able to do so, then I have fulfilled my purpose.

I love little indie visual novels like this. It's got a very down-to-earth story that excels because of its lovely atmosphere that can be melancholy and bittersweet but also heartwarming like a cup of coffee on a winter night. The main story focuses on the last ten days of the year, when a chance encounter between the protagonist and a mysterious girl causes an unusual relationship to develop between them - not friends or lovers, but a special kind of "acquaintance" - a confidant. The heroine Tina also has a great personality: the perfect combination of enigmatic, cheeky, and smug, but also caring, adorable, and surprisingly vulnerable. The artwork is really solid and Tina has a great design. The translation is fine and I only noticed a couple instances of slightly awkward phrasing, and pretty much no typos.1 found this helpful
I thought it was a very good game as the relationship between the characters was not quite what I expected from it. Also I think the ending seems fitting to what was spoken of during the game. I also appreciated that the ending wasn't a complete cliff hanger as that level of edging during the game with no pay off may be fatal to many gamers. I would like to see more in the same vein by the developer assuming they don't bankrupt themselves by doing so and have more good ideas.1 found this helpful
Is good, hits right in "The Feels"
Solid game with a nice ending. Pacing was a bit slow in places, but the overall experience is worth it.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
So naive, but.. okay.
