Zarie: The Story of Sin is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This godawfully cringey e-book is all about the author stalking some girl or something then successfully chatting her up so she becomes his imaginary anime girlfriend. I mean, basically that's the plot of almost every godawful high school anime club dropout fan-fiction non-game e-book on Steam, isn't it? Awful stuff, and the cringe goes to 11 on this one. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to …

short but worth reading, especially as a pm sleeper agent

I didn’t expect much at first, but after finishing it, it turned out to be way better than I thought. It left me feeling strangely empty… like, kinda hollow and lost for a while (kinda hate and love this game at the same time)

Zarie: The Story of Sin is a short and linear visual novel where you travel through the "Afterlife" while being guided by Zarie. Besides minor dialogue changes, choices do not matter and will bring you to the same ending no matter what. Also the twist at the end was kinda meh in my opinion, I personally would rather have the story stay the course it was building up over the entire game. As a PS, this game works quite well on a Steam Deck.

this is quite the intresting game i love it to be honest i was expecting a longer story but it was pretty good and the art style was pretty good to and the BGM was pretty good and i enjoyed it i am wondering what feature plans there will be for this game? but overall 10/10 i look foward to whatever comes next
