About Zofia

Zofia is a first person RPG - Kick, magic, and melee your enemies as a Seeker trying to stop the blight - A dangerous magical corruption that's determined to bend you to its will.

Features

  • Play the campaign solo or co-operatively with 4 players online, or 2 players in local split screen.
  • Utilize elemental magic based on your surroundings. Create traps or obstacles for your opponents, or use magic to layer your armor or even launch yourself out of danger. Rare magic tomes allow you to further your magical abilities, if you can find some.
  • Use a grapplehook to get high locations, shortcuts, or secrets... Or as a means to board airships!
  • Create a custom character from 4 different races, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. From the slow but powerful slime-like Tarbies, to the agile and flying Aves... Or maybe the small and nimble Otter-like Common are for you.
  • Build up your Hub base by finding secret treasures.
  • Take on enemies with a wide variety of weapons, from elemental weapons, firearms, magic medallions, to ancient equipment.
  • Bosses, quests, and Gods await you... What will you find, Seeker?

This game has some great things going for it - interesting and distinct races, weapons and spells, interesting premise of a story, great and fun mobility via grapling hook, kicking, climbing and even a pilotable airship - and then throws it all away with crappy story, empty maps, uninteresting quests and boring, floaty combat and dissapointing ending. Its also pretty jank and something is very wrong with the contrast but i dont mind it at all. Its just unfinished and thats a shame.

I absolutely love this, I didn't get turned off by ugly graphics and clunky game mechanics. It rewarded me with easy to read dialogues akin to how would normal people talk compared to some weirdly written bigger RPGs, beautiful melancholic areas and atmosphere (if you use grape hook to move onto locations you shouldn't and you observe the snowy areas below, it simply has some unique weird charm to it). Overall I'm having absolute blast with this game for pricetag of only 1.25€, I hope we'll see more games from this dev.

short amusing fps rpg adventure in the vein of dark messiah of might and magic although lacking the mighty kick. if you like grapple hooks and stuff you might dig it. look up some footage of it on youtube if you can to help make your choice

I'm mixed about game, there is a lot to like, Janky physics, pretty enviorments, Otters, Grappling hook Story is nice nothing groundbreaking but defintily worth finding I gues my main issue is that the game to me feels more like a platforming game than RPG Wonderfull huge worlds but they are mostly empty, it's a case of big ddoesn't mean better or more need some more sprinkles on the cake since the cake is mostly sprinkle free. Tasty but leaves a taste for more. If you are looking for a dark messiah this is not it but it defintly reminds it, less RPG more exploring
