Monotonous interiors, mediocre plot. There's not much you can interact with in the game. It's immediately clear that they didn't put much effort into the game.2 found this helpful

Secret of Magia is when you open the game and immediately realize you've been cruelly deceived. It says "Metroidvania," but in reality, it's a gray labyrinth where you run in circles for 40 minutes and don't understand where to go. The controls feel like a joystick from 2007, and enemies kill you in two hits. I played about a third of it and just closed it forever. The most depressing Metroidvania I've had the misfortune to play. I would have even forgotten the name if it weren't for you.
