About Zombie Friday
Outbreak of zombie plague turned some cities to undead-infested hell. One of most lucrative jobs in this bleak future is zombie hunter. And there is one day in year, when all zombies remember theirs most hidden instincts from past human life - Black Friday! Worst of the worst came back to mall. Miners, hoping to snatch new graphic cards. Scalpers, trying to buy all new consoles to sell them with huge profit. Those big sweaty guys who smell and push in front of lines. Karens, searching for manager. Orange man, spewnig vile bile everywhere.
There isn't better day to start as zombie hunter. So pack your mags and go hunt!

REVIEW ENG/SK ENG The game Zombie Friday from the Slovak developer Nocturnis9 is a very pleasant surprise. Despite the fact that it was released on April 1st, it means no April´s fool, but a completely serious debut of this designer. This game is a classic, retro-tuned top-down (PvE) shooter, made famous by such classics as the Amiga series Alien Breed, or the rediscovery of genre in the Miami Hotline. Zombie Friday does not lag behind them, because the overall design of the game shows the author's love for games as such. So the overall aesthetics of the game not only resembles titles from, say, the 1990s, but perfectly brings an atmosphere of their playability. Ergo- in its "simplicity" is very playable and very addictive. In my opinion, the minimalist story is just a plus and captures the "tropes" of the zombie genre such as- dark places which is illuminated only by a flashlight or a flare, abandoned - closed locations (or arenas), firearms, explosives and ... of course hordes of "their will eat your brain" zombies. In this case, of course, it is also a social critique, or a parody (not only on "Black Friday"). This is also one very important "trope" of horror zombies. Gam…6 found this helpful
