About Project Solaris

This is the story of a girl "Solaris" who wishes to depart from the "island" where mages live and become a full-fledged mage.In order to make her dream come true, she must develop a bond with her reassuring little buddy "Homu", brush up on her strategy, and overcome the challenges she faces! The player controls "Solaris". However, in order to defeat your enemies, you must command "Homu". To do so, you need to successfully complete QTEs (Quick Time Events). However! If you advance the story and raise your "Reliability", you will be able to easily activate difficult skills! The bond between the two characters is the key to victory!

Save up money by working as a “shop keeper” or in “battle” to make new equipment!Solaris's equipment: expensive and powerful. You can buy it anytime you have money. Homu's equipment: Inexpensive and can be equipped in bulk. However, what you are able to craft is random. The best choice for you is a matter of preference! Let's prepare the best equipment according to the skills that Homu can learn now!

You get to choose your action from three cards every day for 100 days.Battle? Rest? Learn a skill? Earn money? Every action will affect the outcome of your trial!Sub-scenarios unfold as you select specific cards or accomplish objectives! It's up to you what kind of story you want to weave and with whom! The ending will change depending on how you proceed!
  • Tetia -  a young but brilliant former classmate,
  • Croise - a strict but kind mother,
  • August - a lazy shopkeeper ,
  • Melchior - a wise woman who has high expectations for Solaris and Homu,
  • and a suspicious character who is plotting something...
Let's make their adventure a success with strategy!

Fun game and quite challenging! go as far as you can so the restart rewards is better, I hope they add more card types and events in the future. Unfortunately I lost all my progress because of the black screen bug, so I'll hold off for now. But I can definitely see the potential!

The art and animations for this game are AMAZING and they're the main reason I stuck around to finish it, that doesn't mean i didnt find the gameplay fun though, It can feel repetitive but each run doesn't take too long to beat (2.5 hours in my case) so it doesn't overstay its welcome. The balance for your daily options can use some work, IMO 90% of the equipment for solaris is pretty useless, and and the stats you gain after battles feel like they dont really do anything at all. I found the collaborate option to be far better than any other option after I got the equipment I would use for the rest of the game (which did not take long). For example at the end of my run I had 40-50 in attack/defense which gives + 4-5 damage dealth/blocked, upgrading a single skill could give me +4 attack, granted thats only for a single skill but upgrading gives an immediate boost plus it makes gameplay more interesting with added effects that change combat, for the entire earlygame and most of midgame your stats will feel negligible. Also failing a QTE is just not fun, maybe if you did half damage instead of none at all so you wouldn't feel like you just wasted a turn. There also are a few bugs n…

Project Solaris is a Turnbased + Roguelite game that let you train your homunculus. Every day you got to choose between 3 random activities until a certain date, a elitle/boss will appeared, defeat them to progress the game. Depend on the activities counts, characters will pop out afterward and drop backstory or lore. Overall is a simple concept and quite random RNG, its fun but it won't really stick with me.
