The king has been murdered, his throne taken by a usurper. Only you and a team of fearless heroes can restore the kingdom. Valiant Tactics is a turn-based roguelite RPG without hit chance RNG, where every encounter is a challenge, requiring you to adapt to a diverse range of foes, terrain, and even weather conditions. Every Attack Hits

You won't miss an attack due to chance to hit. Neither will the enemy. Valiant Tactics is about managing your abilities and their cooldown, choosing the right one at the right time. Maybe a basic attack will deal enough damage to kill an enemy. Maybe you should get a guaranteed kill with an ability - but perhaps it might be more useful in the next turn?

Diverse Tactical Scenarios

Every battle you fight will be different: Every enemy type has its own strengths, weaknesses, and tactics. Weather can change the battlefield dramatically and change your carefully laid plans for better or worse.

A Team of Heroes

Adventurers will join your quest for a fee, defined by one of distinct classes, complete with stats and abilities. You define how your team grows with each victory, including distinct talents and masteries.

Arm for Battle

A hero is as good as their equipment, from rugged, commonplace gear to legendary artifacts. Loot new items from enemies defeated in battle - or save up and pay merchants to expand your armory for the coming battles.

Make Decisions

There’s more than just battles. As you journey to confront the usurper, you'll run into unique encounters. Every decision you make in these random events matters and can potentially affect your party and its chances to prevail.

After playing this game for 15 hours here is my opinion. (Sorry english isn't my first language) I enjoyed the game quite a lot, its fun but im not actually sure I would recomend it, yet, to everyone. I would recommend to people who love this type of game and wants to support a small dev team. I woudn't recommend for people who have high standard, It still need a lot of feature and improvement to be a great game (Quality of life, mechanics, maps, items, visual, balance, bug, etc). That being said, I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to see it evolves. The gameplay is simple but its exactly my type of game. Pros: 1) I really enjoyed the strategic aspect of this game. Its challenging but not too much. 2) I absolutly love the different bosses, There is quite a good variety and they all feel completly different from eachother. Some character definitly shine in some fight while others in other fight. 3) I like how each character feels very unique and well defined. They each have their strength and weaknesses. They can be built in different ways and still be strong. When I play other game, I usually really enjoy some specific character and focus on them. In th…

I enjoyed the game, until I got to the first boss. There is difficult and then there is absurd and not fun, which is this game. The first boss is a spider, with projectile attacks that you cannot get to, as there are 3 egg sacks spawning 2 spiders each round. In order to stop this you have to kill the sacks. All attacks (regardless of armor) do 1 point of damage to the characters. Therefore, by the end of the first round, 1/2 the party is dead and by round 3 one sack was taken out and one character remained. Punishing and not in a good way. If the game nerfed the bosses a bit the game would be fun. At this time I cannot recommend it

Super fun while respecting its own ambitions. I have easily gotten my money's worth, but $10-$12 might be more the correct price for this one.

I've given up on this. Progression is abysmal between runs. You can keep a single item into the next round and it's honestly not enough to make a difference. And of course if you didn't find anything better than the previous run, then your last run didn't actually give you any progress at all. Even using some cheap tactics like maxing the marksman, sooner or later you run into a boss that one hit kills a single character per turn, and then it's pure luck if he picks off your best unit or not. Spending 20 minutes on a run and then being one shot killed isn't fun. If you look at the global achievements and just how few people have defeated even the first mini-boss, it looks like a lot of other people aren't finding it fun either. It's a shame - with a little adjustment it could be really good. Adjust some of the cheaper bosses. Allow difficulty levels that would let you keep more items. Allow you to keep a single levelled character instead of an item, perhaps. But as it stands, this is more frustrating than fun. Best of luck to the developers for a good effort, but not for me.

A fantastic tactical gem! I’ve played a bit more than 6 hours of Valiant Tactics so far, and I’m genuinely impressed by how strategic and satisfying it is. Every battle feels meaningful, every decision matters, and I love that the game removes the frustration of random misses — it’s all about pure strategy, positioning, and smart planning. The variety of classes, gear and encounters kept every run fresh for me, and the balance between combat and roguelite choices is incredibly well-designed. It’s challenging but always fair, and you constantly feel rewarded for thinking ahead. First time I got to the second Act was amazing feeling :D (had to grind though). You can really feel the passion behind this project. Highly recommended for anyone who loves tactical RPGs or roguelites.

The combat controls are poorly developed, and the intermissions don't seem to allow easy camping to heal, which heightens the likelihood of failure by an unreasonable and unrealistic degree. I don't know anyone stupid enough to just charge bleeding into battle without resting well enough to be actually healthy enough to be ready for combat. The design just leaves a lot to be desired.
