Somewhat fun roguelike game, but it didn't last long due to various bugs and issues. [h2]Story[/h2] To be honest, I didn't see the whole story. Based on hidden achievements, I never see the true/actual ending despite having cleared both Easy (green) and Normal (yellow) difficulty. But from what I've seen, the story feels barebone where I don't feel invested. [h2]Gameplay[/h2] [b]What I like[/b] + The core gameplay is simple to learn and difficult to master. + All 3 weapon types (sword, bow and wand) have mostly good balance, where each has its strengths and weaknesses. + The RNG is good enough to prevent me feel screwed over. + Control feels good, despite I'm playing on VM. [b]What I don't really like[/b] - On easy and normal difficulty, the amount of dropped credit (required to unlock upgrades/mechanics) is very low. I didn't want to grind for tens of hours, so I edited "globalSaveData.rpgsave" to have tons of credit I have. - Crafting isn't really rewarding, as it ends in failure or doesn't produce good items. I do not recomend this game for now, have so much bugs, so much! Bugs of shop item, bugs with the controler, bugs with itens usage, the idea of the game is nice but I do not recomend! Maybe after the game be really fixed!

Diary of Lucie is a pleasant rogue-like I enjoyed quite a bit. While it has some issues, it is overall a pretty fun game. Especially for something that’s been made by a single developer in RPG Maker, which makes it only more impressive. Pros: - fun battle system with a unique dodging mechanic, allowing to use bullet hell to one’s advantage, - responsive controls, - interesting story and characters, - nice sound effects and music - fourth wall breaking done in style. Cons: - getting VERY few resources for upgrades per run (Credits), the more you play, the less you get, - few tutorials and some aren’t very clear f.e. activating earned Titles can’t be done on a gamepad, but requires using a mouse, changing a lamp’s color in the hub changes the difficulty which impacts resources gained, - the UI is at the bottom of the screen and often hides enemies from the player’s eyes, especially when the player is entering a location from the north, - runs are pretty long, a bit over 1 hour from start to finish, and quitting mid-run resets it (at least you keep the resources gained until that point), - can see story cutscenes only once (common issue in rogue-likes), - only one save slot, - …

Diary of Lucie is a game following Lucie in what appears to a dream world. Story: It revolves around Lucie, the temple, and what transpired with god many years before. Lucie slowly regains her memories over time, and as it comes along, more suspicion is drawn to the temple. It appears that Lucie is someone special in this sense. Her goal being to climb the temple, but not because of its restrictions, the temple's goal which she does not seem to care about. Though, to meet a friend at the top. It is quite an interesting story, and connects quite well. Gameplay: It revolves around a semi-rouge system. Where if you die, you restart from the beginning. However, you unlock more powers up to help you along the way. The game has weapon durability, so this has to be kept an eye on. It also combines bullet hell in a clever way that works with melee. After every 3 floors, there are bosses. To cut it short, power up a lot before challenging the bosses. There are various types of magic, skills, enhancers, and weapons. Each depending on the situation can be valuable. However, the major flaw in the game is how you are required to beat it all in one go. This is a terrible design choice, and…
