About Nano Shift

Your story begins in a gritty underground compound as volunteer #137, moments before you are requested for duty. Your journey will take you more than half a century in the past, to when humans could still safely walk the surface. To see through the deception and solve the mystery behind Nano Shift you'll need sharp wits, a keen eye, and a little help from a few friends.
Gameplay is a puzzle mystery mixed with exploration elements. With rich environmental storytelling, full 360 degree sound, and a fully interactive world, Nano Shift brings a truly immersive experience that is unique to Room-Scale VR.

This game is broken up into chapters, with the first full chapter currently included and available to play. Two more chapters are in the works and will be released as they are finished. The price of this game will increase as more chapters are added. We're in early access and still have some kinks to work out, but it's quite stable and offers approximately an hour, to hour and a half, of play time.
Gameplay features include:
- Rich and detailed environments.
- Puzzles and interactions built for tracked motion controllers.
- Teleporting not required. In fact it’s not even recommended! (unless your play space is under the minimum Room-Scale measurements of 2.8m x 2.8m).
- Lots of logical and dexterity puzzles.
- Graphic and control settings options.
- Floor height adjustment setting (especially useful when letting a taller, or shorter, friend have a play session).

While the game is fun, there is simply not enough of it. Only took me 49 minutes, and 10 of that was spent looking for an Item that was hidden in the shadow of another innocuous item. The good: Great graphics for VR. Plenty of interactive items. Nice sound design with an interesting way to do ambient music. The bad: Far too short for the price with a cliffhanger ending that doesn't explain anything and a promise of future "Episodes". Overall, I would say wait for it to go on sale at about 6-7 dollars. Or the price just drops11 found this helpful
My Initial Thoughts: I have to admit this is my 1st escape the room type of game and I found some of the puzzles really challenging. There is no hand holding or help facility as far as I could tell so you really need to use your brain in order to progress. The graphics, sound, and locations are top notched. This is a highly polished and very clever edition to any VR puzzle lovers library. I'm a bit torn about this game: On one hand, it's one of the best VR escape room experiences I had with regards to the interaction with the environment. Graphics are also nice, maybe with the exception of quite hard shadows which make some objects unnecessarily hard to see and find. But it certainly has potential and what it does, it does well. On the other hand, it's currently just that: A short escape room game. Introducing the story around it without the game having much to do with it after all can be quite disappointing. Personally, I expected more on the story side especially after the extensive introduction of the nano virus incident just to find at the end that this was really unnecessary for the game in its current state. In addition – and this is the real problem I have – is that I was not aware the this is an unfinished early access game when I bought it. This fact is well hidden in the last paragraph of the description. Other early access games (see e.g. "BeamNG.drive" or "7 Day to Die") are clearly labeled as such using steam store features. I think you should make clear that this is an unfinished game which only scratches the surface of what it promises or you might …2 found this helpful
This game is good because you really are in an escape game. It is really well made. BUT this is an unfinished game where the story won't be completed. And that's really a shame. The price is way too high for the time i spend in it. It could have been a great game but ended as a disappointment1 found this helpful
Garrrrrgh!!! Angry refund. 1) Game had me stuck at a puzzle for an hour. Quit to find the devs made the puzzle impossible!!!! 2) Re-entered the game to find all of my progress had been lost. 3) Finally got to where I was. Put some important papers on an object. Solved the object to find that a thing came out the top of it and clipped through my papers. Now they're missing. Have to restart AGAIN!!!! This game is not about fun, it is about agro. Avoid.
game didnt work because of glitch, steam refused to refund (3mins gameplay). cant recommend this one.
