I will never buy another of your games when you go out of your way to make previous ones I've purchased obsolete. Taking down the servers is understandable for an older game although even then I think this is a bit early. But the fact that even single player mode is tied to the servers is just pure greed. You'll own nothing and like it.

Stop killing games. They will do the same with each yearly release. dont buy it.

If I paid the amount of money that this company charged me for this game, then even if they are shutting their servers down I should not loose my character, my or my game modes. It's a product I paid for and they should not be able to take it away from me. The career mode should be baked into the single player, and multiplayer should be able to have community servers run the local, and online tournaments. I will never buy another 2k product, and if a lawsuit arises that sues 2k for this behavior I will be part of it. Ending support for a previous product that you charged me almost 80 dollars for is unacceptable without patching in, and allowing and end of life cycle update that keeps everything I paid for, and a way to earn everything in the game without in game currency, and keep play all the available modes, or host/join a community run server that does host those features. No more 2k games, no more anti consumer live service EULA's, and no more thievery and greed from games companies. Own what you buy as a consumer, and continue to provide if you make a product as a company.

They're taking down the servers less than 4 years after release. Why would I buy another EA game?

Great game for when you hammered

The game overall is pretty fun. 4/5 stars. But the 1st hole of East Ridge, final course in career mode, needed to win the Tour Championship is literally impossible on hard mode. For reference, I've played through over 6 seasons on hard mode and gotten 1 Tour Championship ever, and that was scoring double bogey or worse on every hole 1 round (and the only double bogey i got was a chip-in). Un-putt-able green. The slope is Mt. Everest. Even with high friction balls and easy weather, its not possible. I'm not alone in thinking this either. Just go look at Reddit. When your signature course and signature event hinges on putting up a 10 on the first hole, and playing perfect from there? Just to be competitive? Count me out. This HAS to be fixed in future iterations of the game.
