Curious Expedition 2

[h2]【ENGLISH VERSION】[/h2] I played the second game first in this series, haven't tried the first one yet (heard people say the first is better, but I won't comment on that). I've played a lot of similar games, and this one's art style really hits the spot for me. The story is also pretty engaging (with some moments that are both funny and heartbreaking). One thing I really wanna rant about: when I found out I could change the colors of my animal companions, I was shocked! Then they all turned into a rainbow mess. And you can actually eat your animal buddies (yeah, when you're starving, you can eat them—I'm not sure if you can eat human companions too). My jaw literally dropped. But I'm giving it a thumbs down for the following reasons. Some downsides: the UI isn't great, it blocks the view. The game content gets repetitive pretty fast—no real motivation to play long-term or crank up the difficulty. Inventory space is super limited, rewards after each mission are stingy, maps are tough, and the currency needed to unlock characters/items is way too high. Stuff like that. Bottom line: the gameplay isn't that deep. You can grab it when it's on a big sale, but the excitement will …

Curious Expedition 1 had better flowing gameplay, better art, better variety and had a better interface. For a sequel, it just seems like a pale imitation of the first with fewer options, fewer playable characters, and just plain less fun to play than the original. The music was better in the first too. CE2 is like if you asked an AI to remake CE1 I hope if you ever make a CE3, that you return to the roots in everything, music, artstyle, gameplay and variety.

This game is an incredibly charming piece of RPG. I really love the art style and the gameplay is absolutely replayable

After 12 hours of chill game full team was one-shoted with one trap, if this game is darkest dungeon, please show it faster

Great Game, but beeing 10 Hourse deep into a run and aggroing all islander sucks. Ans the only reason it sucks is because the UI wont let me prevent an ambush. Am i walking and stop, im too far away to engage combat and if i click stop i get ambushed anyway. plz make an option to let me engage combat first or else make the enemy hidden because than the firststrike of the enemy would be at least rational.
