Trine Enchanted Edition

I started this series with part 4, and it's immediately clear how much the series has improved. This part is good, although I found it a bit short in terms of play time. It's better to play with someone, it's much more fun and interesting, and a helping hand would be very welcome.

I thought it was pretty good.

This one is a middling thumbs up for me. The puzzles are alright, the world is pretty. The music is fine. There just isn't a lot in here for me. I haven't played this in years, but I've been going back to see which games I skipped writing reviews for and this was one of them. I didn't like the second game and I didn't bother with the third game. This one doesn't really stick out in my memory. I know that the series as whole is hard for me to recommend because the controls are so awkward. I find it difficult to control with a controller and difficult in a different way with a keyboard and mouse. I like the idea of this game. I'm just not super happy with how it all comes together. I would suggest that if anyone is interested in the series, this one is short, so give it a try first and see if it works for you. For me, it's one of those things I could do with or without and wouldn't be bothered either way.

Beautiful work of fantasy. Fantastic art, music, and 2000's charm. The puzzles are fun, though can begin to feel repetitive, and frustrating due to the nature of them being physics-based. The combat is relatively low-strategy and you can basically just mow down enemies by spamming your attack button. Overall a visually pleasing and cozy fantasy action-platformer game.

This game is something spoecial. It brigns to life the feeling you had when your parents or grandparents were reading you fairy talkes when you were little. It is whimsical and serious and tragic all at the same time. the gameplay is somethign I have no complaints about. the physics are intuitive and dynamic, The puzzles and platforming give you multiple ways of solving them. The music is FANTASTIC! The graphycs are a bit old at this point, but you will honestly not give a damn. Thery are good enough and as someone who has played the later games - the art style is consistent and only improves in quality. If you have the money - get it. You will never regret it.

Little fairytale with some fun puzzles and good co-op not much not to like. Simple and fun.
