Skip this one. Your time is worth more than this hodge podge mess of code and script. The gothic community are saints for wanting to touch this trash up to make it moderatedly playable, but sadly, they cant touch the completely amateurish and cringe script and story, some characters act a certain way when you get near them and then when you 'greet' them they act completely opposite. The story makes no sense, and is like a wattpad fanfic where JoWood didnt like the 'official' canonical Piranha Bytes ending and made this... THING, to twist things into the trash ending they wanted. Many 'quests' involve going back and forth between two NPCs that are stationary and positioned on opposite sides of the playmap, the rest of the quests are either 'fetch' quests, and 'escort' missions where you dont even know where is the NPC you have to go collect and escort, because no one in the game tells you. Circle back, play the original Gothic 3, and win the game with Innos and just skip this 'game' altogether.5 found this helpful
+ is that random weirdo near the village pretending to be crow or cat i dont really know - is everything else big fan of gothic series here (even gothic 3), but this game is so poorly optimized it becomes unplayable kinda shame. i dont want to download tons of mods just to play this properly2 found this helpful
Even if you can find enjoyment in gothic 3 do not play this. This is a farce of a game in every sense of the word. Everything bad about Gothic 3 is x10 here. There is no suspension of disbelief, this is an amalgamation of bad, unfinished game mechanics and an affront to the story of the hero so far. The general feel is what I imagine the first fully vibecoded games will be like - nonsensical everything1 found this helpful
