Retro City Rampage™ DX

I can't believe I sat on this game for so long!! I've had this game forever and only just jumping in now to realize how much I LOVE this game! There's a JACKAL inspired level!?!? Are you kidding!? That's like one of my favorite games of all time!! I can't wait to play more of this game. It's so fun and the gameplay keeps changing and getting better without leaving anything behind! I'm so happy with this game!

[h1]Rating[/h1] 4/10 [h1]Intro[/h1] It seems like a funny parody of the old-school GTA games, pre-PS2. But gosh, is it a pain to try and play. Which would've been fine, if the game design was aware of that, but it isn't. [h1]Positives[/h1] + Good soundtrack. + Great aesthetics and graphics. + Continually introduces new gimmicks and gameplay elements to keep things fresh. [h1]Negatives[/h1] - Controls are too janky for what it expects from you. Imagine for a moment, OTXO, but without its responsive movement or mouse controls. Yes, it's as bad as it sounds and it's unfortunately in this game.

It's like GTA, but for NES, and it's better than GTA! It's so fun to throw stupid people into the water and beat the crap out of them with guitars lol it's good stress relief in short bursts. I didn't care much about the main game, I was just having too much fun in free roam. Got this for chump change too which makes it even better. Gotta love good cheap video games.
