I finally got around to playing this. Not bad. It's a little rough on the menus and key bindings. the joystick wizard does not work at all. A menu to see the missions would be nice. map zoom would be cool, but it turns out the maps are super small. The AI is DEFINATELY better than il2 sturmovich ill give it that much. engine sounds are different too. It is a hardcore simulator so there are no map markers. You have to navigate yourself. I hope they fix the menus though. Make them widescreen compatible and more friendly.1 found this helpful

I've been coming back to this game occasionally since Jan 2026 and each and every time I have to spend hours using the awful control set up. nothing works. Total play time 9 hours 8 of which are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about in settings. Massive disappointment it's pathetic glad I only lost £2.17.
great AI and missions but UI is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. would still suggest getting it if your interested in the battle of Britain and the north africa campaign.
Realistic settings. If you are a newbie it can be very frustrating getting the bindings correct. I tend to stick to one plane to try and master its technical aspects.It can be very satisfying to master the controls. A hotas set up is ideal for this game.
Great game lost of fun in multiplayer and in solo good as an ajustable game for the level of difficulty you want.
