Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones

I got this for free in 2015 and decided to finally give it a try. It's not terrible, but there are far better 2D puzzle platformers out there (Ori and the Blind Forest, Gris, Little Nightmares, INSIDE, Animal Well). The puzzles are mostly trial-and-error, the soundtrack is unremarkable, and the artstyle is meh. Technical info: There is no Steam Cloud support. The game speed is tied to the framerate, so make sure to limit your monitor to 60 Hz or otherwise cap your fps. The server for the community-made levels has also apparently been defunct for several years, making at least one of the achievements unattainable without setting up a [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2882031791]local server[/url].

It's unplayable. Game is way too fast. Previous comment says its because game speed is tied to refresh rate, where high spec make the game too fast and low specs make the game too slow. So weird. What possible reason would there be to build things that way?

art style is disgusting

The game offers a generally good action puzzle experience. Escaping a high tech testing facility requires a mix of quick reactions and some light planning. Sneaking past security and moving through shadows adds a bit of satisfaction without feeling overly intense. Avoiding traps and laser grids gives stealth fans a modest challenge. Heavy instrumental music fits the darker corridors reasonably well, and taking short breaks from work to solve a puzzle can make the day feel a little lighter. Players who enjoy platforming style adventures may find the level design interesting enough to spend some time with.

Stealth Inc 2 continues on from the original game with a stealthy, puzzled based format. With around 60 total levels, this game can definitely keep you interested for a while if you enjoy the puzzle platforming format.

Some of the tests are ok, but a lot just seem to be stupid rage game "challenges". AKA trial and error.
