Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree

Really enjoyed this one. Solid 2D soulslike, the kind you sink hours into without noticing. What hooks you most is [b]the art and the atmosphere[/b] — a dark, hand-drawn world that's just pleasant to be in. The story isn't a masterpiece, but it's genuinely decent and keeps you interested. And [b]the builds are varied[/b] — you can put together something that fits your own style instead of digging through guides. [hr][/hr] [b]My one complaint[/b] — the achievements. Killing 10,000 mobs is too much. This isn't Diablo, and grinding for a number on your profile doesn't suit it. [hr][/hr] [b]Bottom line:[/b] if you like soulslikes, grab it without thinking twice. chill dark soul

Fantastic souls-like. My favorite part though so far has been the price. The world needs more games like. Not everything needs to have some huge budget and require crazy hardware. My son and I have had more fun playing this game than any other title in a long time. 10/10. Just difficult enough to keep you entertained. Also the fact that you can pause the game and walk away and not have to worry about dying is a huge plus. Gaming with kids is not always easy but any game that makes it so will always get a great review from me.

This game is a lot of fun. I have played a lot of souls-like games. All of the Dark Souls games. This side scroller; however, really surprised me. The artwork is fantastic, the gameplay is really crisp, and the voice acting for the characters is also very good. I can't believe people haven't talked about this game more. If you like RPGs and Soul-like games you will not be disappointed. The maps are also very friendly. I really like the way you can retrieve your essence if you die in a major boss fight. Very forgiving. Believe me, you will die, a lot. This is not an easy game. The skill trees are very deep, the ability to multiclass is great. I love the way you can enhance your gear and your abilities. This game has it all. Anyway, trust me, this is a fun game and a blast to play. I give it 8+ out of 10.

Fun gameplay and a (relatively) good Story.

this game is mostly just a basic Metroidvania. its good like 7/10 ish. I'd put it below blasphemous in overall quality. its a bit sluggish in combat for me, but that is largely a preference. it's all very good or ok BUT BUT BUT for some reason the Voice Acting, Dialogue, and Character portraits are like 10/10 like major props to the voice actor Director, writers, and of course the voices themselves. Very rare to see such quality in gaming in general. So much so it overshadows the rest of the game for me,
