WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers

I wish I could say that I enjoyed the game but I didn't. The first impression is amazing but it doesn't take long before it loses its luster. The gameplay is fine until you realize that there are only four weapon types, an extremely limited number of skills to use, and an abundance of spells but a restrictive way to use them on top of the fact that most of them are terrible even if you spec into the singular weapon type makes the most of them. And that's not even counting all of the enemies and attacks that will just come out of nowhere. Once in a while, having an enemy drop on your head or an explosive arrow hit you from some angle you didn't expect is fine but it's constant here, enough so that the exploration becomes a chore of either tanking that damage or tediously checking every nook to make sure something isn't ready to push you off of a ledge or appear behind you only after you've engaged with another enemy. These problems aren't unique to WUCHANG but because the combat becomes so stale with the limited weapons on top of the limited weapon types it got really boring. Oh, and expect a massive skill check towards the end. The difficulty curve is a bit insane there.

This definitely got review bombed. I've really enjoyed this game. Interesting story, fun combat and cool level design. I have an old scrap of a computer and haven't had any performance issues. 2060 graphics card, 16 RAM, played on a normal hardrive. Still absolutely stunning visuals. Definitely recommend trying this if you enjoy soulslikes!!

Now run well, with my potato Pc all on medium, 100% res + fsr frame gen + 60fps cap (minimal input lag) good and smooth experience. Pro: 1- Setting and art direction, some boss fight + theme songs were on point! 2- Good combat system-flow with the skyborn might mechanic 3- Interesting level up system + skill tree (once u get used to) + infinite free respecs 4- kinda good build variety + armours transmog Cons: 1- Far too easy base game with tricky-hard boss fights (really aggresive with small windows for dmg) 2- poorly balanced, some weapons / skills or spells are straight up op (u skip core gameplay mechanics) noticeable expecially against bosses 3- complicated-missable questline, items etc (after 3ng+ i thought i had done everything) turns out i missed couple of quests ending, 1 boss fight + some weapon benedictions Overall a good souls like with his own identity, i had tons of fun, highly recommended for all souls fan

The game is a bit linear and simple but it is well put together and a very unique ability system. It is not the best game I have ever played but it is very enjoyable.
