METAL SLUG XX

Sendo bem sincero, só comprei esse jogo pelo Ikari Team do KOF estando aqui, mas assim, não é um jogo totalmente ruim, ele ainda cumpre o papel dele de entreter e dá pra brincar, por isso não consigo não recomendar ele. Eu diria que a melhor palavra pra descrever esse Metal Slug é: UNDERWELMING, os cenários continuam aquela porqueira que vem tendo desde o MS 6 sendo só imagens estáticas e bem borradas por sinal, as vezes me pegava caindo em buracos que mal conseguia ver e a travessia se tornaria bem mais difícil sem as setinhas indicando a direção, a trilha sonora é fraquinha e genérica, sendo maior parte músicas antigas refeitas mas mesmo assim, não tem o mesmo impacto, removeram algumas das tranformações mais legais tipo virar zumbi, múmia e até ficar gordo (pelo menos não vi nenhuma delas na minha run). As mecânicas novas até que são legais com os personagens tendo um ataque especial cada um com uma certa sequência de botões sendo apertada, as armas novas também são interessantes. No geral, Metal Slug XX ainda é melhor que o 4, mesmo sendo fraco.

Just buy on sale Metal Slug 1, X, 3 and XX. Do not get MS 2 - it's the worse version of MS X. You have to re-config the settings since these are old simulated games. Running 1366x768 windowed mode, 1s delay loading next stage on my old PC. There is no lag or whatever problems in Negative reviews. Play normally with keyboard like a PC game should be. Main menu is sluggish though. P.S: Why do people expect online co-op in the old games?! I'm wondering if they will request 4K remaster for the same discounted price as well.

Sort of a boring rehash of some mediocre parts of the franchise. Mecha boss fight looked cool, but other than that, it's whatever.

Metal Slug XX was the one I played a lot on the PSP just because Leona was in it. The only difference with this and the PSP version iirc is that there's midgame saves on the PSP version but not on this one.

I got this for $3.99, but it's definitely not worth the default $20 price. This game contains the most terribly designed sections in the series. While the game looks great and the general gameplay is fun, it also goes way too far past the learnable challenge of the other games, and is just ridiculously bullsh!t unfair.The first 2 or 3 or so stages are fun, and then the rest of the game becomes filled with enemies and projectiles that fill the whole screen, leaving you totally screwed. And the mech section in stage 6 is full of UNAVOIDABLE DAMAGE! It's good that you can keep continuing through it, but expect to be constantly dying every few seconds in the later stages.

This game was fun. Worked on bazzite ROG Ally Z1 NON Extreme just fine.
