Classic! A little dated in some areas to be sure but the transformation mechanic still feels fresh and fun to this day. If you enjoy mech focused action titles and don't mind games from this era this may be for you!1 found this helpful
A timeless classic third-person transformer shooter. It works great and still runs pretty well on a modern PC.
I played it ages ago about to hop on again. Its basicaly like a Transformers type of TPS game where your mech can transform into different armaments. There is a short story mode to it. Had a vague memory of renting this game and playing it on the original Xbox as a kid, so I decided to look for it. It's a fun little game where you pretty much get to experience the power fantasy of being a Transformer that can turn into a fighter jet; kinda like Starscream; so I can see why it resonated with me as a kid. The controls are decent enough despite the game's age and you get weapons added to your arsenal after each mission to spice up the gameplay a bit. The downsides are that it only took me around 3 hours to beat (Well steam says 3 hours but the in game timer says an hour and a half), plus it's an old pc port that hasn't received any support, so it's locked to 30fps and doesn't support 1080p resolutions. For a sale price of 62 pennies though? I can't exactly complain, just know what you're getting into.
