A Little Big Adventure
Originally released in 1994 as Little Big Adventure or Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure, Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure Classic is an action-adventure game that became an instant classic on PC and PlayStation.
You play as Twinsen, a young Quetch living on Citadel Island on a planet that orbits between two suns: Twinsun. The dictator Dr. FunFrock uses cloning technology and teleportation to control the planet and its population. Twinsen is been having strange dreams in which the planet is about to be destroyed! The Legend says that only the Heir of Sendell, Twinsun’s beloved Goddess, can prevent this from happening.
Dr. FunFrock forbids everyone to even talk about Sendell’s Legend, so he locks Twinsen up in an asylum. Twinsen needs to escape to stop FunFrock, uncover his magical ancestry, protect the planet's secrets and meet his destiny.
An epic adventure

- Learn about your ancestors and gain magical powers

This is not the game ever, because LBA2 holds that title! This game is amazing, and incredibly creative! The newer version does not do it any justice at all.
Very rough to play, the game is unforgiving, making a simple mistake (and it's quite easy to) can set you back hours. You need to draw your own map and take copious notes, pay attention to every little detail in order to progress. Some things are quite farfetched.
Game was great and it definitely shows its age. It's hard to recommend for modern gaming. The controls are the real final boss here, but you can manage to find a really cool adventure in here.

i never played this game as a kid yet it still charmed my socks off 30 years after its release, even despite the clunky controls it's obvious that the team behind this game loved creating it; the colorful voice acting and character designs struck a real chord with me. few games find their own charm in the way that twinsen's little big adventure does, which makes it absolutely worth playing in 2026
