Beglitched

This is an interesting game. It's obviously a labor of love, and for sure it's unique. A bit of logic puzzle, a bit of minesweeper, a bit of Match 3. I would recommend it if: You are looking for a slow, thoughtful, weighing the probabilities with each move kind of gameplay. You like a cute, pixel graphics aesthetic and can tolerate a repetitive chiptune OST. You are able to figure out rules without a lot of handholding. You are okay with relatively long gaming sessions that can be scuttled by RNG, requiring you to start a full level over (not a full run, mind you, but an often lengthy level). I would not recommend it if: You are looking for fast-paced Match 3 gameplay with endorphin-stimulating chain reactions. You want a game you can play on your work laptop on your coffee breaks. You failed the logic section of the GRE. Unfortunately, after 2 hours, I realized I was more in the latter of the above categories, and I've thrown in the towel, at least for the moment. But in the abstract, I understand that this isn't an awful game, and more patient and cerebral gamers may really enjoy it.

It took me a really long time and many tries to get what this game is doing for some reason. Once I finally did it was really fun though so I'm glad I kept coming back.

Cute and short puzzle game. Some of the levels are a bit janky, but there is a lot of heart in there.

Beglitched is a strikingly original puzzle experience developed and published by Hexecutable that uses the familiar language of match-three mechanics to construct something far more cerebral, exploratory, and emotionally resonant. At first glance, the game presents itself as a colorful, whimsical take on hacking culture, set inside a surreal digital landscape inherited from the mysterious Glitch Witch. Beneath that playful exterior, however, lies a tightly designed puzzle framework that demands careful thought, pattern recognition, and strategic restraint. Rather than chasing quick gratification, the game immediately signals that progress will come from understanding systems, learning rules through experimentation, and embracing uncertainty as part of the journey. The core gameplay reimagines match-three puzzles as navigable environments rather than static boards. Each network functions like a miniature dungeon, where tiles conceal enemies, exits, and hazards that must be inferred through logic rather than revealed outright. Players are limited by energy cycles, which turns every move into a meaningful decision and transforms simple matches into calculated risks. Bombs, compasses,…

Tedious.

cat net is so hard ;_; really fun though otherwise but every time I lose catnet I basically just close the game until I have time to try again
