Big congrats to [i]Hajiro Mina[/i] for officially making my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the most insufferable female characters ever. I haven’t reached the ending yet, but the FMC has been completely baffling from start to finish. Watching her is honestly triggering my allergy to stupidity. If anyone in the main party had a single functioning brain cell, they would’ve slapped her across the face and told her to cut the crap and stop spazzing out. Her fate as a Divine Messenger is already set in stone, yet she’s still being melodramatic and whiny about it. It’s that typical Japanese YA "angst for the sake of angst." Do Japanese writers just not know how to write a logical human being? The whole character feels completely schizophrenic. One second she’s slaughtering countless villains, and the next she’s acting like some innocent saint. She loses someone important and then immediately snaps back to her daily routine like nothing happened. Her moral compass is basically nonexistent, and there's zero logical consistency. While I appreciate (and love) infodumps myself, I still don't like it when the [i]entire[/i] story is just one infodump after another. The plot just jumps from one point/reveal to another without fully exploring anything at all. Not only that, there is [i]barely[/i] any satisfactory action from what is supposedly an action/chuuni VN. Basically, get Tokyo Babel or Ayakashibito (from the same VN studio) and play those instead. They're way better after all.

[h1]Incredible story[/h1] A visual novel of decent length, its only faults are possibly the pacing (can be long-winded or full of tedious exposition) and even though there are no sexual images per se, I found the eidos rituals a little uncomfortable due to (what I thought was an unnecessary) inclusion of a sexual element... not least of which was non-consenting. If you can get past these points, then the game is a blast. Characters are voiced, the background music is decent. I found the story highly addictive - once I started I couldn't put it down. It took me the better part of two days and an afternoon but I feel like it's altered my perception of the world. Yes, it's THAT powerful. Structurally, the VN takes the form of a single story with no choices to worry about. Once you get to the end, there is one choice offering three endings - once you have read these, a fourth option opens the path to the true ending. There is also a 'jump' button in the menu, allowing you to skip to unread or new sections that may have unlocked after reaching the final ending, which is handy for getting those last few images in the gallery.
