What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
A game that takes one of the Fairy Tales (No... Not the anime!) and puts a twist on it... While following different characters. It's... Pretty darn good actually. Mostly because the Developers gave a damn and put a sheep ton of details and care into the game. Example: you can touch a yarn and a little kitty would come out and bat it. Or a lamp and a snail would crawl down. Things you never see nowadays in H.O.Gs. >.> The game is also not as easy and mini-games will make you work for it. Some even require luck! But not that badly. If you stick around for a Bonus Game? There IS no map... :D............... Woo. Achievements? None for Steam. However, the game does have 'em! So you can challenge yourself and get stuffs along with it! It's a good, fun play and I am glad that I got to enjoy it. Thanks ya!!! :> :) :D8 found this helpful
Great Game
EXCELLENT
9/10 - A Beautiful Hidden Object Adventure Honestly wasn't expecting much when I picked this up on sale, but Dark Strokes really surprised me. The art style is gorgeous, everything has this painterly, fairytale vibe that just works. The story about saving the Snow Kingdom kept me hooked way longer than I thought it would. The HOG scenes are well-designed and not too cluttered (thank god), puzzles are actually interesting and the Collector's Edition bonus chapter was a nice addition. Voice acting is decent, music sets the mood perfectly. If you're into hidden object games or just want a chill, atmospheric adventure with some light fantasy elements, definitely grab this one. It's one of those cozy winter evening games. TL;DR: Beautiful art, solid medium to hard puzzles, engaging story. Great value. Would recommend to HOG fans.
Mid - the music is repetetive, the puzzles are eh, the story tries to be interesting, but delivers short. If you really like Hidden Object Games, you might like it If not (or you haven't tried any), then I wouldn't recommend it.
It's goood
