Red Crow Mysteries: Legion

a very short and simplistic old school HOG pros. ok voice acting ok music cons. very short (a bit more than 2 hours) no bonus story has a few bugs including a permanent screw driver stuck in inventory i had one crash to desktop i had to fix the game from not running => check the guide i wrote for it weird story with abrupt ending sometime you get lost without knowing what to do to be honest despite all the negative stuff i have listed i kinda enjoyed the game as it is very simple and straight forward. compared to the other "HOG" i have played yesterday this was a blast xD i still do not recommend it as sometimes you will get stuck not knowing what to do and all those bugs. so maybe only get it on sale if you are really looking for a light HOG. i give it 3/10

Yes, I recommend it. This is more of an adventure game than HOGA. You will not find pages of HOPs. What you will see as you explore each new area is a short list of only items you need for puzzles, mini games & problem solving. I enjoyed playing & hope to see more.

The plot was mediocre, and there are no actual hidden object scenes in the game. The ending was underwhelming to say the least. Wait until it goes on sale if you want to bother with it.

It starts out with no backstory and it’s vaguely told to you through rather lengthy cut scenes. I just finished the game and I couldn’t tell you what the story is. Some girl has “powers” and you have to face Legion. Except at the end [spoiler]YOU DON’T EVEN FACE HIM, the game just ends?!?[/spoiler] The puzzles are ok and contain several unique ones I haven’t run across yet. I found some to be very easy and some to be quite challenging. The description of the puzzle the game gives you is bad and hard to understand at best. Luckily, I was able to figure them out and didn’t need to use any hints. Also, a note that there isn’t a single hidden object scene in the game. Kind of weird for this genre to no have one. It’s nice the game has achievements but it’s not for Steam, just inside the game. Would have been nice to add them to Steam. This isn’t a terrible game but lacks in a few areas, especially the story which is subpar even for HO games. I would still recomme…

It's more accurate to say this is a key finding and collecting simulator rather than a PNC. Combined with unintuitive, sometimes incomprehensible, puzzles, poor VA, a forgettable story with a very unsatisfying, abrupt ending, this one is an easy hard pass.
