Soda Crisis

Soda Crisis is a genuinely made Chinese 2D platformer/shoot'em up/bullet hell hybrid following along the early 1990's side scrolling shooter genre, as you control a little robot thing with guns, a melee attack, and a grappler. Gameplay is frenetic and twitch orientated... die and retry is the theme here (at least we don't have to keep putting in credits for more lives). Insulting amateur developers everywhere, this has fairly good visuals, and a few other technical boxes are checked... with one exception. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the …

Just... don't. Menu text within gameplay is unreadable on Steam Deck. whoever verified the game didn't make it past the first menu.

sure its really simple but wow is it fun, you dont play this game for a good story but when you wanna chill and shoot some robots this is a blast. Great level variety, amazing movement, good changes of pace, weapon variety and power up variety is insane. It's not the most emotional or surprising game you'll play but it sure is fun
